Thank you, Senyor Santo Niño!

Thank you, Senyor Santo Niño!

Pit Senyor!

The opportunity to help make #Sinulog2018 a huge success is a blessing. We now look forward to a bigger and grander #Sinulog2019.

We, in PRworks, began arranging flowers inside the small chapel of the Basilica del Santo Niño in 2002. Since then, we vowed to do it annually as the Child Jesus inspired, guided, and blessed us through several challenging years.

We thank the Senyor for giving us opportunities to do more and for allowing us to be where we are now.

Senyor’s instruments

At this point, allow us to extend our gratitude to the Sinulog Foundation especially Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña, Councilor Dave Tumulak and Engr. Ricky Dakay for the trust, confidence, and support. You have been Senyor Santo Niño’s instruments in opening this opportunity for us.

We would also like to thank the following people:

Jess Abellanosa de la Cruz for being a superman who knew the ins and outs of the whole Sinulog production. We could not do our jobs effectively and efficiently without you.

Steph Señires Villarica, Maan Ting, and Celyn Sala of the marketing team for doing a superb job with so little time—Powerpuff Girls indeed!

Ms. Malou Inocando-Tabar for ably managing the mainstream media on top of her tourism-related tasks and the awesome hosting.

Fayette Riñen and the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) team, along with Mark Tolentino and Lianne Llesol of the Cebu Provincial Government Public Information Office (PIO), for amplifying our publicity efforts.

Baptiste Leroux, Rhusfer Cuezon and team who collaborated with us 24/7 in producing the Sinulog 2018 mobile app in record time during the Christmas season and the first two weeks of January 2018. You are amazing guys!

Allow us also to mention our app sponsors Bloq Residences, City Time Square, Palm Grass Heritage Hotel and Master Po Restaurant. Thank you very much.

Kalingawan sa Plaza

Doc Ado Macaraya of the Parks and Playgrounds Commission and his Park Maintenance Team for supporting us. The Kalingawan sa Plaza could not have taken off without him. Thank you, Doc.

The Kilusang Pagbabago cleaners who persevered cleaning the tables and the dining areas at the Plaza until past midnight.

The City’s Department of Public Services (DPS) for ensuring garbage are picked up from Plaza Independencia every day.

The local police force and blue guards who helped maintain peace and order and the Cebu City Traffic Office personnel who despite the heavy traffic of vehicles and people, managed to keep vehicles moving.

Josoue Bacunawa and the Cebu City League of Volunteers, the youth group that ensured the smooth run of the nightly events at the Plaza, the tent sponsors – Sun, Smart, PLDT, TM, Coke, Pepsi, and SMB – as well as the vendors.

Joe Canton and VECO who took care of the street fair’s power and electrical requirements and maintenance.

Of course, we reserve special mention to the Presidential Security Group headed by Brig. General Lope Dagoy for approving our request to lift the barricade at the road fronting the Malacañang sa Sugbo and for sending a six-man team headed by PSG Sergeant Pardua to implement the order with our local PNP and traffic enforcers. The move helped us improve the flow of traffic in the area.

PRworks Team

Thanks too to the PRworks team—with special mention to Cora Ko who more than proficiently managed tasks at hand, to Trysha Bautista for patiently dealing with the vendors in all 3 areas, to Anol for ensuring we have a Sinulog App that is delightful to use— and for the rest of the team:  Mafe, Van, Yeye, Ynna, Rose, Alya, Andre, Yvette, Grace, Karlo, Junie, Rommel and Joebert.  To volunteers from the Sports Commission, our interns and Kilusang Pagbabago Naga,

Daghang Salamat sa tanan!

We all contributed to the success of #Sinulog2018. All of us look forward to a bigger, grander #Sinulog2019.
