Globe Telecom further strengthened its leadership in the postpaid segment with double-digit growth in subscriber base and revenues from last year’s levels.


As of end-March 2011, the company’s wireless postpaid base has reached 1.44 million. Subscriber base for mobile telephony was at 1.15 million, up 30% year-on-year. Total wireless postpaid revenues stood at P3.63 billion, 10% higher than last year.


Being the first to launch a suite of customizable and personalized postpaid services in the country, Globe Postpaid is expected to show strong and continued growth over the coming months ahead, as well as widen its lead over competition.

Globe has the most diverse offerings for its postpaid subscribers, led by the most flexible and customizable postpaid plan in the market today, the All New My Super Plan. Following the same principle of product personalization and customization is My Super Surf Plan, the country’s first-ever range of fully-customizable unlimited data plans which provide subscribers with uninterrupted mobile surfing, consumable monthly fees, bonus call and text services and add-ons in a single subscription.


Globe Postpaid also introduced My Super Circle Plan, the first and only unlimited and customizable group plan which includes 3 Globe postpaid lines, 3 unlimited services and 3 mobile phones all under one plan. Available for only P1,499 or almost P500 per postpaid line, My Super Circle Plan allows subscribers to create a group plan with 2 other family members and personalize it by choosing an add-on per account.


Globe is also at the forefront in wireless broadband. Globe pioneered the fastest broadband stick in the country, the revolutionary Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini, allowing subscribers to enjoy internet speeds of up to 10Mbps, or 5x faster than regular broadband sticks. Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini is the first service offered under the company’s 4G mobile network, the first and biggest in thePhilippines, which utilizes the global standard HSPA+.


The Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini is exclusively available under Tattoo’s newest postpaid plan. For only P2,199 monthly, subscribers can enjoy surf-all-you-want, high speed broadband access using the Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini broadband device. The package also includes free 200 text messages to Globe/TM. Regular SMS, voice and other services will be charged on top of the monthly fee.


            Apart from this newest offer, Tattoo is also improving its existing offers by introducing faster speeds for its 2 postpaid plans at no extra charge for new and existing postpaid subscribers. Starting June 6, Tattoo Plan 999 subscribers can enjoy internet speeds of up to 3Mbps instead of 2Mbps. Tattoo Plan 1299 subscribers using Tattoo Superstick can maximize surfing on speeds of up to 5Mbps from 3Mbps. Upgrade to a Tattoo MyFi device has also been reduced, now at P100 monthly from P149, available for Tattoo Plan 499 and 999. Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini subscribers can upgrade to a Tattoo MyFi for only P50 monthly.
