Cebu deadline set on July 18, 2014
We know a lot of excellent stories have been published and aired this year. We hope these will become contenders for Globe Telecom’s Cebu Media Excellence Awards (CMEA) and the Davao Media Excellence Awards (DMEA). But these have to be considered as entries first.
To refresh us about the nature of the awards, the criteria, and procedures, we are posting now information on the Cebu Media Excellence Awards. Information on the Davao Media Excellence Awards (DMEA) will follow.
Just note that news outlets, editors, news directors, and friends may nominate one’s works. Or one may directly submit excellent journalism works.

Entries must in duplicate copies. Entries should be accompanied with the photocopy of the participant’s company ID. Deadline for submission of entries on JULY 18, 2014. No entry shall be accepted after the deadline.
We will be uploading information on the Davao Media Excellence Awards (DMEA) shortly after the July 18, 2014 deadline for Cebu.
The nominees shall be announced on September 18, 2014. The announcement and awarding of winners shall be on September 25, 2014. This grand event shall be one of the major highlights of Cebu’s celebration of Press Freedom Week.
