Globe Telecom partners with the University of the East to celebrate its 65th foundation year with the launch of the University’s own UE SIM.
The new UE SIM powered by Globe gives its users customized content, providing up-to-the-minute important announcements and information to students, as well as the university faculty and staff via text.
Aside from this, UE SIM card holders enjoy a significantly reduced promo call rate of P0.05 per second, or P3 per minute to any Globe-UE, Globe and TM subscriber. This is 54 percent cheaper than the regular call rate of P6.50 per minute. Each text message sent from a Globe-UST Prepaid SIM costs only P0.50 per text message to any Globe and TM subscriber, which is 50% lower than the regular SMS rate of P1 per message.
To commemorate the 65th anniversary of the university, Globe launched special promos, which gives UE students special rates and freebies. Subscribers may avail of the special UE 30 and UE 45 promos exclusive to the users of SIM. With the promo, UE SIM users can 300 texts to all networks plus free 15 call minutes to Globe-UE, Globe, and TM for only P30 valid for 1 day’s use and P45 valid for 2 days’ validity.
