The annual Globe Media Excellence Awards (GMEA) for the Visayas and Mindanao deepened our relationship with the local mainstream and online media community.

Undertaken in behalf of  Globe Telecom since 2012, the project has expanded in 2015 to include the whole of Visayas and Mindanao with Cebu and Davao as the main urban centers.

With a digital news perspective, the annual awards has also increased the number of digital categories for news anchored towards four sustainable focus — the environment, positive social impact, innate care for people, and the digital nation.

The biggest telecommunications company in the country strengthened its relationship with both offline and online media in the Visayas and Mindanao.

For Globe Telecom, the continuing project shows its leadership in uplifting mass communications in the two main Philippines islands south of Manila — Visayas and Mindanao.

For PRWorks, the Globe Media Excellence Awards (GMEA) solidifies the agency’s success in media relations in the Visayas and Mindanao. Journalists, bloggers, and influencers based in Cebu, Bacolod, Ilo-ilo, Tagbilaran, Tacloban, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, and Zamboanga await the results of Vis-Min’s most prestigious media awards.

While all major public relations agencies in the country compete in Metro Manila, PRWorks carved its turf in central and southern Philippines.

With its base of operations in the archipelago’s second most prosperous City of Cebu, the agency has taken a firm hold in the City of Davao. Although the seat of power in the Philippines rests in Malacañang in Manila, Davao City is the power base of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

The strategic communications project of Globe Telecom, in effect, uplifts lives.
