Unforgettable experiences to build relations with media
Tell me and I’ll forget. Show me and I may remember. Involve me and I’ll understand.
Confucius
The idea may have spun from a familiar sales tactic of providing the potential buyer an experience of driving the car. But the Ford Media Drive campaign tweaked the test drive to achieve something more.
Ford Philippines is now building strong relationships with journalists and bloggers in the Visayas who are now generating stories of their memorable experiences in news outlets, their blogs and in social media.
The campaign involves vetting over 20 journalists and bloggers in Cebu, Ilo-ilo, and Bacolod to join a quarterly two-day drive through long distance routes the new Ford Ranger Wildtrak and XLT.
The first two-day drive transpired in the hinterlands of Cebu City last March and followed by the Iloilo-Guimaras drive in June. The Bacolod leg shall transpire this September 26-27, 2019.
And who doesn’t want to avail of the privilege of driving one of the hottest pickup trucks that has become a lifestyle vehicle?
According to EJ Francisco, the assistant vice president of Ford Philippines, “the new Ranger offers a choice of three diesel power trains to deliver greater versatility and meet consumer demands for a wider variety of requirements. These include the new generation 2.0L Bi-Turbo and 2.0L Turbo engines, and the Ranger’s proven 2.2L TDCi engine.”
But equally important to the superior technical features of the Ford Ranger Wildtrak and XLT, we delighted Visayas writers. Check out the following:
