Soft launch set Dec. 16 for indispensable festival companion 

Users can begin downloading the first Android and IoS versions of the Sinulog 2019 app, the digital companion for millions of revelers and devotees flocking to Cebu, Philippines in Southeast Asia’s biggest annual festival, on December 15, 2018.

“Media influencers and first adopters are invited to the soft launch at Kalingawan sa Plaza on December 16,” said Doris Isubal-Mongaya of PRworks Inc. and the Sinulog Marketing Team.

Kalingawan sa Plaza is the Sinulog fair at the Plaza Independencia that starts December and ends a week after the Grand Sinulog Day.

Yup, the Sinulog 2019 season will start early. The Sinulog Fair, which will be held in more Cebu City venues, will start in December.

The app we rolled out last January 2018 awed thousands. But, we believe, you’ll love more the companion app we are preparing for you come 2019.

Better Sinulog experience

The simple yet elegant interface will stay, of course.

However, the Sinulog 2019 companion app will pack more features designed to enhance Sinulog experiences that revelers and devotees love through the years — the festival queen pageant, the colorful contingents, the Sinulog idol, the food, the parties, and the fun.

Note that fun during Sinulog is not just the concerts, the parties, and the booze. We all love the interaction with family and friends.

You will also discover useful features like better and more maps to survive the crowds or even join the online conversations.

One also needs to navigate the myriad of activities not only on January 11 to 20 or the Sinulog week. The festivities will actually begin when the Pasko sa Sugbo opened on December 1, 2018.

Unlike before, you will have a digital companion that helps you plot your schedule. You might want to focus on the religious activities or the official festivities. Or you prefer the parties.
