'Geeks on a Beach' 5 on Aug. 24-25
"We have something cool to reveal to you today. The most laid back tech Startup conference in the world will take place in the most beautiful island in the world," says Tina Amper in an email blast to her list from the previous Geeks on a Beach in Panglao, Bohol.
This time, she announced, GOAB 5 will happen in Palawan this August 24-25, 2017.

What happens when nearly 500 geeks meet in Boracay? A lot!
Expect the tech reporters, columnists, and bloggers to have submitted for publication or posted already their take of the Geeks on a Beach conference last August 20 and 21, 2015 in Boracay. The social media-savvy participants already posted thousands of photos in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

Silicon Valley startup guru Dave McClure has urged geeks here and abroad to attend the third Geeks on a Beach on Aug. 20-21, 2015 in world's best beach destination in a country primed to become the next startup destination.
